Pickens County Business Owner Losses Life In Tornado

According to ABC 33 40 News, "an elderly couple and a popular business owner were killed over the weekend" as a result of an EF-2 tornado in Pickens County.

That business owner has been identified as Tyrone Spain. Spain died Saturday after a tornado destroyed his mobile home on Settlement and left only its wooden foundation standing.

According to ABC 33 40 News, Spain owned a car wash in town and ran a golf cart taxi service at Alabama home games and during other events around town. Spain was described as a hard worker, energetic and was said to love his family very much. There is now doubt that the community and his family will miss him dearly.
