Popeyes Chicken Sandwich Is Back!

Back in August, Popeyes released their now legendary chicken sandwich and it did not disappoint! They sold out and had to temporarily remove it off the menu to meet the high demand for the sandwiches.

A few weeks ago, Popeyes announced that the sandwich was making it's return on Sunday Nov. 3rd., slight shade because Chick-Fil-A is closed Sundays lol! Of course, the world went crazy with excitement and all diets went out the window on that day, including mine! I literally planned my whole weekend with nothing on my Sunday schedule but that Popeyes chicken sandwich, the Spicy sandwich to be exact!

I pulled up to the Popeyes on McFarland and the line was CRAZY! I waited for 10 minutes and didn't move up in the drive thru line so I googled the next closets Popeyes and made that drive!

After about 15 minutes on the road, I arrived at the Popeyes on Buttermilk road near Cottondale and there was a short line! YES!

After I ordered my TWO sandwiches, I had a moment at the table biting into my sandwich as I reflected on how far I've come that night just to get chicken sandwich lol. It was all worth it. Even if they ran out of bags and had to borrow bags from the nearby taco bell......
