As temperatures continue to climb across West Alabama, Temporary Emergency Services is once again asking the community to help neighbors stay safe during the hottest months of the year.

According to a press release sent to Townsquare Media, Temporary Emergency Services (TES), in partnership with WVUA 23 News and Townsquare Media, will host its annual Fan Drive to collect fans and bottled water for individuals and families in need.

The drive is designed to help vulnerable residents cope with extreme summer temperatures by providing resources that can make a significant difference during periods of intense heat.

Community members are encouraged to donate new or gently used fans, along with bottled water, to support local families who may not have access to adequate cooling resources.
