These Alabama Black-Owned Businesses Are Doing Their Thing!

Every Friday we highlight Black-Owned businesses in Alabama. I wanted to take the time to highlight a few that you might have missed and some that I like to patronize as well. Here's my list of 6 Alabama Black-Owned Businesses that are killing the game.

6 Alabama Black-Owned Businesses That Are Killing the Game

A few of these businesses I found through Facebook searches, and others I just happened to be out around town. Either way, I'm glad I found these businesses. As a business owner myself, I know how hard it is to run your own show. Worrying about advertising, sales, expenses, fees, taxes, and general upkeep of the business is a lot to handle. I salute these and all other area Black-Owned businesses in  Alabama for your hard work.

Believe it or not, the youth in town are looking at you and their taking notes. You may not see it for the next 10 years but do know they're watching.

I remember watching my grandad and my father run their landscaping and irrigation businesses when I was younger. By watching my father interact with his clients and seeing the dedication he put into each job, I learned the value of patience, quality work, and customer service.

My grandad used to get up really early and be home by noon and make enough to not work the rest of the week! I couldn't believe it. That taught me the real meaning of the old phrase "The early bird gets the worm."

Thank you to all of the area Black-Owned businesses in Alabama. You're not only serving your community with your business, but you're inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs.
