Tuscaloosa County: Get Out and Vote!
I should be totally up front with you. I believe that voting, in general, is important. Voting local is even more imperative to me. It is a way to hold those in charge of shaping our communities accountable.

I’ve been voting ever since I can remember. I just don’t ever recall not voting. Even as a kid, I would be part of the political process with my parents. Voting means a lot to me.
Since voting is one of my passions, I appreciated the Tuscaloosa County Chapter of the National Panhellenic Council (NPHC) invite to talk about voting. The event “Vote to be the G.O.A.T. Tuscaloosa” was held on Facebook live this past Saturday night. I discussed my feelings about voting and the significance it has on the local level.
So, if you are on the fence about voting, I’m here to encourage you to exercise your right to vote. Tuscaloosa County, you got plenty of time to get out and vote. Polls don’t close until 7 pm today. For up to the minute coverage with the Tuscaloosa Thread, click here.
