C.A. Fredd Jr. Academy Hosts Community Forum April 30
Tuscaloosa County, mark your calendar. A new opportunity for students and families is taking shape, and the community is invited to be part of the conversation.

C.A. Fredd Jr. Career and Tech Academy is hosting a public forum on Thursday, April 30 at 5:30 p.m. at The Edge Incubator and Accelerator, located at 2627 10th Avenue.
The event is designed to give families, educators and community members a clear look at what the future could hold. Attendees will have the chance to meet the founders and leadership team, ask questions, and learn more about the vision behind the tuition free public charter high school serving grades 9 through 12.
Organizers say the academy will focus heavily on career pathways and workforce ready programs, giving students practical skills alongside their education. The goal is to create more options for young people in West Alabama while strengthening the local workforce pipeline.
The forum also serves as an opportunity for the community to show support and offer input as plans continue to move forward.
If you have students, know someone with high school aged kids, or simply care about the future of education in Tuscaloosa, this is one of those meetings worth pulling up to.
The vision is clear. Now it is about getting the community in the room.
