I remember the excitement I felt before the first day of school. I'd always remember my mom and dad hyping up the first day of school. It always made me anxious for the next day. Looking back on it, I think they were just happy to get the kids out of the house after summer. As a parent, I understand that logic.

After going shopping for school clothes and driving my mom crazy, I have a few bomb outfits I couldn't wait to wear at school. The first day of school outfit was always important. It set the tone for the rest of the year. I'd lay my whole outfit out on the bed or a chair just to see it as I'm falling asleep. I'd jump up the next morning and put on the clothes I laid out the night before. It was something about that routine that made me feel like I was really ready for another year.

Don't get me started on the feeling of throwing on a brand new bookbag. WHEW! The Kloset is giving Alabama residents a chance to experience that new bookbag feeling for free. Spread the word about their backpack giveaway and more!
