Kool-Aid McKinstry Partners With Bojangles

The NCAA era of Name, Image and Likeness kicked off this past summer and the Alabama Crimson Tide football players haven't been shy about taking advantage of their platforms to strike deals.

Alabama freshman cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry announced this week on his social media accounts a partnership with Bojangles. McKinstry, who was recently named to the SEC All-Freshman team, announced the return of the Bojangles Supremes.

The Supremes are Bojangles spicier chicken tender option and has been off the menu for some time.

"Oh they fire, they fire" said McKinstry after taking a bite of the revamped chicken tender.

Bojangles is offering a 4-piece Supremes Dinner with a side and drink for $6.69.

McKinstry is already paired up with the Kool-Aid brand as they share namesakes.

The freshman was considered the No. 1 cornerback in the nation in the 2021 class and has seen himself earn more and more playing time as the season has unfolded.

He started in the Mercer, Auburn and Alabama games this season and has tallied 17 tackles, one sack, one interception and one pass breakup.

The Crimson Tide will depend on McKinstry even more in the future as the Tide lost starting cornerback Josh Jobe for the remainder of the year. The talented freshman will likely be first in like to fill Jobe's vacant position.
