Martin Lawrence Announces Alabama Tour Stop At The BJCC
Actor and comedian Martin Lawerence announced a new tour that will be coming to the state of Alabama next year.
The standup comic and “Bad Boys” Star will kick off his 36-city National Tour on July 20 with stops including Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago and Birmingham. The Alabama tour stop is scheduled for Saturday, January 18th at the BJCC.
Special guest Rickey Smiley with Loni Love and Benji Brown will join Martin Lawrence in the Magic City.
This tour will be Lawrence's first comedy tour since 2016 and it's titled the “Y’all Know What It Is!” tour.
The tour is set to launch soon after the June 7 release of the highly anticipated Bad Boys: Ride or Die feature film, reuniting Lawrence with co-star Will Smith.
“Comedy gives me that instant gratification,” Lawrence says. “Seeing the fans up close and in person, making people laugh, doing what I love most, this is what it’s all about for me. But hey…y’all know what it is!”
“Y’all Know What It Is!” is an all-new stand-up show and fresh one-hour set where Martin brings the real talk and finds the funny in everything from family to culture as only he can.
Tickets go on sale Friday, May 17 at 10 a.m. local. To purchase tickets, visit www.martinlawrenceontour.com.
