Overturned Tanker Truck Causes Major Delays on McFarland Boulevard

An overturned tanker truck is causing significant traffic delays on McFarland Boulevard in Northport.

Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Traffic Reporter Ray Allen says that crews are on the scene of the accident, which occurred at the intersection of McFarland and Boone Boulevards.

Allen says hazardous materials clean up crews have been dispatched to clean up the diesel fuel spilled in the wreck.

Authorities have not released any information about possible injuries as a result of the accident.
