Petition Started in Hopes of Allowing Members of the University of Alabama’s Million Dollar Band to Attend All Home Games

The University of Alabama recently announced it will limit the number of Million Dollar Band members who are allowed inside of Bryant-Denny Stadium in an effort to enforce social distancing to prevent the spread of the novel Coronavirus.

This new restriction means that most of the MDB members will only be allowed to attend one game.

A petition has been started on Change.org in hopes of persuading the University of Alabama to change its policy and allow all members of the band to attend each home game.

"Band members have worked tirelessly to support the University and deserve the opportunity to perform at each game.  Even non-band students are allowed to attend up to two games," the petition states.

Alabama's first home game is Saturday, October 3, against the Texas A&M Aggies.
