Temps & Tempo: Spann Conducts the Million Dollar Band
An Alabama icon recently had the honor of leading one of the nation's most prestigious collegiate ensembles during a huge game.
Saturday, November 4th, The Alabama Crimson Tide faced off against the LSU Tigers in their 88th game against each other and of course, the Tide rolled over the Tiger. Bama finished the game with a convincing 42-28 victory.
A few groundbreaking things happened at the game this year. One of which being Alabama Quarterback Jalen Milroe making history as the first Quarterback in Alabama history to snag 4 rushing touchdowns in a single game.
Before the game, Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist James Spann had the honor of conducting the Million Dollar Band. Spann described the opportunity as a "full circle" moment.
"This evening, I will have the honor of directing the University of Alabama Million Dollar Band in the National Anthem before the Alabama/LSU game at Bryant-Denny Stadium."
