[Photos] Stillman College’s National Night Out Sees Major Success
Earlier this week, Stillman College hosted its 2nd-annual National Night Out event on campus featuring free food, games and live entertainment.
National Night Out is meant to enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement. The event also serves as a way for law enforcement members to have positive interactions with community members.
The event received plenty of community support, continued positive interactions between law enforcement and community members as well as appearances from local high school organizations.
"We are very excited about the turnout. We would like to thank all communities, vendors, first responders, healthcare agencies, and volunteer groups for helping make this event a success," said Phillip Cunningham, Executive Director of Facilities Management & Campus Safety at Stillman College.
The Stillman College Blue Pride Marching Band also made an appearance at National Night Out.
Members of the Northridge drumline came out to give the crowd a free performance.
The Bryant High School Marching band wowed the crowd at National Night Out.
Central High School also brought the heat with their marching band.
"3 Dance" made an appearance and gave a phenomenal performance that the crowd got behind.
"We would also like to thank Northridge, Bryant, and Central High School bands for participating in this annual event," said Cunningham
"We will continue to look for ways to build positive relationships in our communities by bringing everyone together in a positive spotlight."
Local vendors, food trucks as well and law enforcement set up booths, activities, and more for all to enjoy. Stillman College even raffled off items like microwaves and refrigerators.
