Study Says Cute Animals Videos Helps Lower Stress

How often do you find yourself stressed? Well, science has now proven that watching videos of cute animals significantly lowers your stress levels.

Stress is a major hurdle to get over once you become an adult. Trying to pay bills alone can be stressful enough, but when you add in children and work it can become overwhelming. Going for a walk doesn't seem to do the trick. Exercise is out of the question and you don't want to drink every night to deal with stress, or do you? Lol!

According to the New York Post, a study performed by the University of Leeds and Tourism Western Australia revealed that watching videos of cute animals can significantly reduce feelings of stress and anxiety.  Who knew that this was all it took to feel less stressed?! The study had participants watch videos of a cute animal native to Western Australia for 30 minutes. They had their vitals recorded before and after watching the videos and the results were amazing. After watching the videos, the participants' blood pressure and heart rates fell significantly. Anxiety was also found to decrease in the participants.

After finding the results of this study, I decided to look up the animal in the videos used for the study. I have to admit, it was hard not to smile and just feel happy! I know you're probably thinking I'm crazy or lying. Watch this video yourself! I'm sure you'll smile afterward and be in a better overall mood.
