New Location For Bunny Trail Egg Hunt Announced
The Northport Bunny Trail in Downtown Northport has quickly become a community favorite in West Alabama.
Their highly anticipated Easter egg hunt event is approaching and now be in a new location.
According to a press release sent to Townsquare Media, Friday, April 7th, the Egg Hunt on the Bunny Trail has been moved to account for the weather. Originally scheduled to take place at Shirley Place, the Egg Hunt will now be hosted at Northport City Hall.
“We are so thankful to the City of Northport for offering an alternate location to host the Egg Hunt!” said Ashley Cornelius, Director of Communications. “We are thrilled to still be able to offer this free event for the community to enjoy, rain or shine.”
You're encouraged to bring your family and come by from 3-6 PM to enjoy indoor springtime fun. The Egg Hunt on the Bunny Trail is presented by the Alabama Power Foundation.
In addition to the Egg Hunt, you can take pictures with the Easter Bunny and enjoy activities with Bunny Trail Sponsors. Weather permitting, train rides may also be available. While other activities are ongoing, Egg Hunt times are based on ages as follows:
3:15-3:30 Toddlers, PreK, Kindergarten
4:00-4:15 1st-3rd Grades
4:45-5:00 4th-6th Grades.
The Bunny Trail Egg Hunt and all Bunny Trail events are free to enjoy.
The Bunny Trail is a display of nearly 100 giant eggs and four large seasonal photo displays that adorn historic downtown Northport. Intended to provide a fun display for families to enjoy and attract visitors to the area, each egg is sponsored and decorated by a local business, organization, group or artist.
Bunny Trail is presented by Premier Service Company and Lowe's Tuscaloosa. Bunny Trail is a project of Tuscaloosa’s One Place, A Family Resource Center in partnership with the City of Northport.
