New Attractions Make Pigeon Forge the Ultimate Family Vacation Destination
As Pigeon Forge, Tennessee celebrates 60 years as a top-rated vacation destination, an exciting array of new attractions have been added to its ever-growing list of sights to see.
“Our top-notch variety of attractions and close proximity to Great Smoky Mountains National Park has endeared Pigeon Forge to multiple generations of families,” said Pigeon Forge Executive Director of Tourism, Leon Downey, in a Wednesday press release.
The people of Pigeon Forge hope that with their newly added attractions bring more visitors for years to come.
“We take great pride in the 60 years of cherished memories that have been made in our city and look forward to more,” Downey said.
The new attractions that can be found in Pigeon Forge are as follows:
- The Island
- Toy Box Mini Golf
- Camp Margaritaville RV Resort
- The Listening Room
- Dollywood
- The Tower Shops at Mountain Mile
At The Island, visitors can enjoy SkyFly: Soar America, a sensory-packed adventure that will take visitors from the highest apexes of Alaska’s glaciers to the lowest depths of the Grand Canyon.
The world’s first toy-themed mini-golf course is making its way to Pigeon Forge. Toy Box Mini Golf Course is an 18-hole golf course that features 30-foot-tall recreations of cherished childhood toys.
Camp Margaritaville RV Resort offers a relaxing space to kick your feet up after a day of enjoying Pigeon Forge’s latest attractions. With nearly 180 RV sites, Camp Margaritaville’s biggest attraction lies in their 79-room lodge “that features a restaurant, bar, camp store, putting green and pool.”
Enjoy live music and fabulous American cuisine at The Listening Room. The concept, which took off in Nashville originally, will be sure to please both residents and visitors alike.
Dollywood will be celebrating its 36th season in Pigeon Forge this year. Make sure to catch their Melodies of Spring concert series that will feature Harmonies of the Heart and A Brighter Day live shows.
The Tower Shops at Mountain Mile bring a variety of new shops and restaurants to Pigeon Forge, such as Azul Cantina, Cinnaholic, Cream & Sugar, BAAK Boutique, Royal Bee and many more. Guests can even catch a free Friday night at “Movies on the Lawn,” weather permitting.
Pedestrians can also take advantage of a brand new 600-foot-long bridge that would be perfect for an evening stroll. This walkway is just a few short blocks from the city’s new Mass Transit headquarters in Patriot Park.
Pigeon Forge’s Mass Transit trolley system offers one-day passes for purchase, making travel easy and convenient for visiting guests.
