Woodland Forrest Gets Huge Surprise: Bryant High Joins Pep Rally
As Paul W. Bryant celebrates homecoming week in Tuscaloosa, the community as well as Woodland Forrest Elementary School joined in on the celebration.
On Monday, October 23rd, the faculty, staff, and amazing students at Woodland Forrest Elementary welcomed the Bryant High marching band, football team, and cheerleaders to celebrate homecoming and Red Ribbon week.
The pep rally was nothing short of a party. Students roared with cheers, dancing, and music from a live DJ!
"When asked what it means to be a stampede, we teach our students to stand powerful knowing there are people in front of you, next to you, and behind you that will stay with you for a lifetime, said Woodland Forrest Principal, Mrs.Teresa Croom Bivens.
Red Ribbon Week highlights the importance of living a drug-free life. It's a time that presents an opportunity for parents, educators, and communities to reinforce the drug-free messages they share with their children throughout the year. this is the week for students to take the pledge to live a healthy drug-free lifestyle.
Woodland Forrest Principal, Mrs.Teresa Croom Bivens spoke on how the schools in the community are working together this homecoming week.
"Paul W. Bryant High School feeder schools are working together to celebrate 20 years of spirit and pride of Paul W. Bryant High School and what it truly means to be the Stampede!"
The Bryant High Stampede will take on Bessemer City at home Friday October 27th at 7p.
